I was raised in Denver, Colorado. Growing up, I never felt like I had one thing that truly captured my attention—until I found photography at 18.

Photography changed the way I saw the world. It made me notice the light, the people, and the small moments happening around me that I might have otherwise overlooked. Since then, it has completely consumed me. I’ve taken countless photographs and spent years studying, experimenting, and refining the way I shoot.

We live in a time when most photographs have an incredibly short lifespan. We post something online, scroll past it, and within a few days it’s forgotten.

Wedding photographs are different.

I’ve looked through my parents’ wedding photos. I’ve seen my grandparents’ wedding photos. Decades later, those images still matter. That’s what I think about every time I photograph a wedding: make the photograph that someone will still want on their wall 40 years from now.

Because of that, I try not to chase trends. I want the photographs I make today to feel just as good decades from now—not dated, overly edited, or tied to a particular era of wedding photography.

My approach is simple: document what actually happened. The people who were there. The nervous moments before the ceremony. The way someone looked at you when you weren’t paying attention. The chaos, the quiet moments, and everything in between.

I shoot primarily on 35mm film because I love its honest colors, texture, and imperfections. I want your photographs to feel like memories—not a production.
